Heh. I remember during the tech boom when customer service around here got terrible. You wouldn't think the effect of drawing all the smart people off to the Bay Area would be so noticeable, but it was. For a year or two at the peak, customer service was surprisingly inept (long minutes of fumbling around) a couple times a week. I suppose it was a small price to pay for having iPods and stuff now, but I was exasperated at the time.
Well, it is easy to find good help in a Depression. They're so motivated.
