My friend Joe is going to make a movie! Well, OK. He is going to make a short film. He knows how to do that and all, ‘cause he went to film school. He’s going to film it in Oakland! It is about a woman who rides her bike all around and fights crime and has a mission that unfolds over the length of the film! Oh my god! It is so perfect for
me!
I was so excited, I asked him immediately. Normally I’m not that forward and I don’t
like to put people on the spot and I figure that if people know me they know
what I’m good at and ask if they want me for something. But I’ve known Joe for a long time and I was
too excited to let this slip by. I
blurted it out and Joe agreed! I get to
feed his cast and crew! I’ve never done
that before. It sounds so glamorous, and
Joe says I’ll be in the credits. I
should think about what they’ll want and how to pack it and everything. It is very important, you know. Girls on bikes get hungry.
